New Lab – 2012 – current
- Description: NewLab is a facility in the Brooklyn Navy Yard that fosters innovation in design, prototyping, and new manufacturing. What was once a facility for building state-of-the-art ships will become a cutting edge center that incubates and encourages a renaissance of new manufacturing. Entrepreneurs, educators, and businesses in disciplines ranging will work alongside one another in this unique space. The members of New Lab will be a vibrant mix of engineers, artists, software designers, architects, and innovators in a host of fields, who are exploring the possibilities of the latest advances in additive manufacturing and design.
