- Critique icon and type logos
- Final Project Introduction: 3D portrait
- Create a 3D portrait in Illustrator, based on 2 photographs of yourself.
- The portrait will be based on a turn of the century stereoscopic photographic portraits, called stereograms, and more contemporary anaglyph images.
- We will do this in class next week, so come prepared to with concepts, costumes, props, etc.
- The portrait must be taken from two precise angles.

Find a poster you like, place it as a template in an 81/2"x11" Illustrator file and recreate it using the type tool, the pen tool and the pathfinder tools. Turn fonts to outlines and/or include the fonts when you turn in your project. Submit a folder with the fonts and the project file.
You might find some 1930/1940's style fonts on these sites:
Demonstrate your control Illustrator.
- Remember to keep your anchor points to a minimum.
- When creating curves, place an anchor point at the base of either side of the curve to control the gesture of the curve.
- Don't twist or cross your paths.
- Close your paths.
- Be deliberate when you create an object.
- Organize your layers and swatches
- Create compound paths when necessary.
- Don't use a stroke to define your objects.
