-- NextFest Field Trip and Report --

NextFest Field Trip: September 29, 30, 31, 2006 at the Javits Center

• Get your free ticket by sending an email to 10 friends (see site for details)
• I will be at the NextFest Conference on Friday September 29th 12pm - 3pm. I will meet students from 12-12:20pm at the left side of the main entrance. After that time, please find me wandering about.

NextFest Report: Due Week 05

• Choose one invention that you found the most impressive and/or inspiring.
• Invent at least two ways you would use this invention if you had it with you in your home, office/studio or school. (You may need to do some extra research in this area.)
• Write a 1-2 page report explaining your invention of choice and the ways you would use this invention if it was available to you.
• Double check spelling and grammar. Visit the Learning Center if you need extra help.
• Things to include in your report:
  1. Introduction: includes the purpose, scope, and background of the research.
  2. Body: includes the theories, methods, and results of your research.
  3. Conclusion: is a concise summary of your findings that conveys the significance of your research.

Late projects will not be accepted.
